(Registration at 9:00 AM).InformationThe Denver 2009 Speedcubing Competition is organized by the Mile High Speedcubing group. This group contains many of the speedcubers in Colorado, specifically the Denver area. This webpage is built in order to serve as a way for competitors to pre-register so we can get an estimate of how many people will show up. Anyone is welcome to come to watch, or compete. If you plan on competing, please register via the "Register Here" button below. Registration fee will be $5 per person, which will cover the expenses of the competition. Pizza and beverages will be provided. The fee can be paid during the official registration before the competition starts on April 25, 2009. -Registration is open to people from all countries of all ages.-Registrants agree with the application of the WCA regulations when participating. -Registration is possible until April 25th, 2009 via the registration form, which can be found by clicking on "Register Here" below. If you plan on attending, please register. If can't show up after you have registered, please simply send an email to pjkcards[at]gmail[dot]com stating your name and zip code. -Registration form contains the events that will occur. Additional events may be added depending on time. We will only use your data from the form for the Denver 2009 competition. Before the competition starts all competitors can practice on the official timing equipment: the Stackmat timer. FAQWill there be prizes?Prizes/awards will be awarded. What do I need to bring? All you need to bring is your own puzzle (for whichever event you are competing), and $5 for the registration fee. What is a DIY? A DIY is a "Do It Yourself" cube. It is basically a cube that you can build yourself, and/or take apart and adjust the tension of each face. These are the cubes that most speedcubers use today. |
